The 2017 Grenache Rose offers up a pretty nose of strawberry, red apple and watermelon. On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied with good purity, some refreshing spritz and a short finish. It's a little ambitiously priced for what it is, but it's a clean, thirst-quenching rosé.

Demetria Estate's 2015 Grenache Rose is a good one. It offers lots of orange blossom, spice and dried strawberry notes in a medium-bodied, juicy, well made style.

A well done rosé that has both freshness and richness, the 2014 Grenache Rose from Demetria (100% Grenache raised in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak) exhibits lots of citrus, raspberry and hints of flowers in its medium-bodied, juicy, pure and delicious personality. Drink this beauty over the coming summer months.

The 2013 Grenache Rose is also solid, with plenty of strawberry, watermelon and rose petal aromas and flavors, medium-bodied richness and a round, supple feel. Aged 4 months in equal parts stainless steel and neutral French oak, drink it over the coming 6-12 months. These solid efforts are made by Australian-born Harry Waye, who has been at this estate since 2007.
