The 2020 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots exhibits aromas of pear, crisp green apple, freshly baked bread and iodine. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's a layered, elegant, precise wine that concludes with a bright, mouthwatering finish.

The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots unwinds in the glass with notions of pear, citrus zest, white flowers and toasted almonds, framed by a touch of light reduction. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, it's concentrated and precise, with chalky structure and a saline finish.

With the 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots, Jobard's portfolio takes a step up in density and concentration. Wafting from the glass with notes of crisp Anjou pear, fresh bread, toasted almonds and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and layered, with tangy acids, chalky extract and an elegant, fine-boned profile.

The 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots is showing brilliantly, soaring from the glass with aromas of pear, Meyer lemon and oatmeal, framed by a light touch of reduction. Medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive, this is a deep, tensile and incipiently textural Poruzots that displays superb reserves of concentration and energy.

The 2016 Meursault 1er Cru Poruzots comes from three parcels, although the lowest altitude plot was hit by the frost, so the quantity is 25% down. It has a well-defined, quite intense bouquet with yellow plum and light minty aromas, becoming more floral with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a saline entry, quite weighty in the mouth with a spicy, slightly compact finish. Fine.
