This wine was made from low yields of 30-35 hectoliters per hectare and bottled with neither fining nor filtration. Made in a soft, supple, up-front style, without the hard tannins that plague some 1991s. The 1991 Vosne-Romanee-Les Beaux Monts-Vieilles Vignes is similarly styled, only slightly more perfumed, with a longer finish than the Aux Brulees-Vieilles Vignes. An elegant, delicious Pinot Noirs for drinking over the near term. A Peter Vezan Selection, no known American importer.
