This soft, dark plum-hued, evolved 2009 Vacqueyras (75% Grenace, 15% Mourvedre and 10% Syrah) was aged in cement tanks prior to bottling. It exhibits lots of peppery, roasted Provencal herb, underbrush, foresty, vegetative notes and endearing, sweet kirsch, plum and spice characteristics.
