Dark colored and powerful, this is a great expression of the more massive side of Gevrey Chambertin. The wine is dense, dark, with black plum and fig flavors, leavened with attractive juicy acidity. Tannins thread through the acidity. Age for 2–3 years. ——R.V.(5/1/2011)—— 91
