Scents of pear, peach, white flowers and warm bread preface Dancer's 2019 Meursault Les Grands Charrons, a medium to full-bodied, textural and lively wine that's deep and concentrated, produced from a parcel planted in 1968.

From a parcel planted in 1968 comes Dancer's 2018 Meursault Les Grands Charrons, a terrific cuvée that wafts from the glass with aromas of citrus oil, pear and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, layered and enveloping, it's generous but beautifully defined, showing considerable promise.

The 2017 Meursault Les Grands Charrons is beautiful, bursting with aromas of pear, Meyer lemon, peach and hazelnut cream. On the palate, it's full-bodied and lavish but incisive, with wonderful underlying acidity, superb textural elegance and a long, saline finish. Dancer elected to serve this after his young-vine Chassagne Morgeot, and that was the correct decision, as this Grands Charrons can go head to head with many premiers crus.
