The dry 2000 Pinot Gris Le Puits Sec was harvested at less than two tons an acre, something other Oregon Pinot Gris producers would do well to note. Its smoky, white fruit-scented nose leads to a light to medium-bodied, tangy personality. This is a spice, mineral, yellow fruit, and smoke-flavored wine that has good richness, focus, and an appealing satiny texture. Drink it over the next 12-18 months. This is an excellent value. Tel.
