The 2010 Sangiovese shows the darker side of the grape in its intense fruit. This is a fairly bold, concentrated Sangiovese, but all of the elements come together nicely in the glass. The 2009 Sangiovese?is a beautiful wine laced with plenty of varietal character – albeit in an extroverted style – in its red cherries, flowers, tobacco and spices. Falesco’s 2008 Sangiovese is a flashy, opulent wine packed with succulent plums, cherries and spices. The Sangiovese spends four months in French oak prior to being bottled.
