The 2016 Rosado is produced with Garnacha grapes fermented and aged in used barrels with battonage for a couple of months. There are no aromas of oak, but there is a touch of extra depth and complexity adding to the classical strawberry and raspberry aromas. The palate is tasty and balanced, with a dry finish. A good Rosé. 12,138 bottles were filled in April 2017.

The 2013 Rosado is a rose from Garnacha fermented and aged for a couple of months in barrel, which is unusual and seems to provide some more depth and complexity to the archetypical aromas and flavors of strawberry lollipop and sweet cherry. It’s quite pleasant and fresh, able to stand up to most foods. Drink now-2015. Finca Albret is the super-selection of the best wines of Principe de Viana, a separate entity created in the year 2002.
