The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz (30% of the former and 70% of the latter) spent nine months in primarily French oak. It exhibits a deep ruby color as well as a sweet perfume of licorice, mint, and black currants. Medium-bodied, fruity, and supple-textured, it should be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
