Rinaldi’s 2011 Dolcetto d’Alba Roussot is the kind of wine you rarely see anymore these days. A pure, traditionally made Dolcetto that highlights the sheer deliciousness of the grape. Sweet dark berries, crushed flowers and a hint of licorice all float on the delicate, finessed finish. The feminine side of Dolcetto comes through beautifully. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2015. The wine reveals plenty of perfumed, varietal red fruits supported by a firm tannic spine that gives the wine its sense of length.
