Frank Family's 2021 Pinot Noir is a blend of several vineyards, built around the same primary sources as the Chardonnay and a short (nine-month) élevage in one-third new French oak. Nicely floral, with cinnamon accents to the cherry fruit, it's medium-bodied, silky and pleasant, an easy-drinking, fun wine, for drinking young.

Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2019 Pinot Noir reveals scents of warm raspberries, Morello cherries and mulberries plus suggestions of forest floor, wild mushrooms, lavender and stewed black tea. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft and juicy fruited with a lively backbone and spicy kick to the finish.

The 2009 Pinot Noir is an attractive wine laced with a typical Carneros expression of perfumed red fruit, spices and flowers. This fleshy, stylish Pinot will drink nicely for the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016. Tel. (707) 942-0753
