Pretty nose of flowers, plums, wild strawberries and citrus rind. It’s medium-bodied, floral and silky, with tight and fine-grained tannins providing an elegant structure. Drink from 2026.

Fresh on the nose with notes of spiced cherries, citrus peel, nut shell and cardamom with dried herb and nutmeg undertones. Medium- to full-bodied with firm structure and compact tannins, that are ripe and nicely integrated with the fruit. Vivid and floral with clean and pure red fruit character in the finish. Better from 2025.

The 2020 Barbaresco Gallina shows lean concentration and a luminous ruby appearance. The bouquet is beautiful with a sweet cherry tone that rises above crushed limestone, blue flower and blood orange. There is a dry or almost dusty side to the wine that you feel on the palate especially, but the overall impression it leaves is one of subdued elegance and finesse. This is a special wine with 6,000 bottles released.
