The 2016 La Strada Sauvignon Blanc conjures up notions of lemon and lime juice with suggestions of white pepper, dill seed and mown grass. Light-bodied with plenty of spring it it's step, it delivers a great intensity of citrus and vegetal flavors with a refreshing backbone of crisp acidity and a tangy finish.

The 2015 Sauvignon Blanc has an appealingly savory yeasty, struck flint and mineral laced nose over an apple and lemon core plus a waft of fresh hay. Medium-bodied with a beautiful silkiness to the texture, plenty of yeasty goodness and citrus zing, it finishes with excellent persistence. This should develop nicely over the next 4-6+ years.

The 2014 La Strada Sauvignon Blanc opens to intense grapefruit, passion fruit and gooseberry notes amid underlying sage and wild thyme aromas that have a touch of sweat. Medium-bodied in the mouth, it offers great concentration and a suggestion of minerals that is lifted by lively acidity. It finishes with good length.

The 2010 La Strada Sauvignon Blanc gives pronounced notes of green apples, fresh limes and lemon juice with hints of wet slate and white peach. The palate is wonderfully intense with plenty of expressive citrus flavors, a good line of very crisp acid and a long minerally finish. Drinking now, it should remain fresh to 2014. The 2009 La Strada Sauvignon Blanc has a pleasantly funky/leesy character over pink grapefruit flesh and pineapple with a hint of damp stones. This is more concentrated and fuller than the 2008 with very crisp acid in balance with the flavor intensity and a long minerally finish. It should drink well from now to 2013.
