The vintage conditions allowed for the development of botrytis, and the result is a terrific 2018 Riesling Beerenauslese that clocks in at 7.5% alcohol and 180 grams per liter residual sugar. Pristine, focused notes of apricot and pineapple lead the way into a medium-bodied wine that's rich and sweet but balanced, with luscious orange marmalade notes balanced by a slightly chalky edge on the lingering finish.
