Comprised of 93% Sangiovese and 7% Shiraz, the 2009 Camelback Sangiovese gives a pale garnet color and notes of warm cherries, oolong tea, smoked duck breast and damp loam with a floral whiff. Medium bodied with crisp acidity, it has a medium level of chewy tannins and a long cherry and earth finish. Drink it now through 2014. "Camelback" is the export label used for all countries that Galli Estate exports to, except New Zealand.No known US importer.
