The 1994 Beaujolais Villages-Chateau Grande-Grange is one of the few Duboeuf wines where some dilution (no doubt because of the rains) is evident. It is a light to medium ruby-colored wine with medium body, a soft texture, round, fruity flavors, not much intensity, and a crisp finish. Drink it over the next year.

Among the Beaujolais-Villages selections from Georges Duboeuf, this wine possesses slightly higher acidity. It is also more reserved and backward, with a more narrow aromatic and flavor profile.
