Earthy, savory and tangy, the 2017 Dolcetto d'Alba is a textbook expression of the grape from a hot vintage. There is a raw, almost tender side to the wine that comes forth as cherry confit, rum cake and raisin box. The mouthfeel is thick and succulent. This wine sees a brief six-month aging period in stainless steel. Some 10,000 bottles were produced.
