Th is estate was born of the marriage of the heirs to two great wine-growing families: Xavier Gonet (from Mesnil-sur-Oger) and Julie Medeville (from Preignac in the Sau-ternes area, most notably Chateau Gilette). Their impeccably tended vines are located in the superb sloping vineyards of Bisseuil, Ambonnay, and Mesnil-sur-Oger, with all three Champagne varietals featured. This gives the estate what it needs to produce well-blended Champagnes for every occa-sion, made with minimum dosage so as to highlight the purity of expression in each cuvee, The single-parcel Grand Cru bot-tlings and the blended cuvee Theophile are still undergoing aging. Of the wines currently for sale, the Blanc de Noirs bot-tling, Perle Noire, and the Perle Rosee are warmly recommended. Very honest, pure and refined, and very style-confident for such a young domaine!
