This wine is also branded as Campo al Capriolo in the United States but in Italy (the bottle I tasted) it is marketed under the name Ocra. The 2013 Bolgheri Rosso Ocra shows medium intensity and a very ripe mouthfeel with soft cherry nuances followed by dried raspberry and blueberry. The fruit is definitely on the warm and sweet side. Lighter touches of spice and leather appear at the back.

The 2012 Bolgheri Rosso Ocra is a sticky, chewy red wine with super-ripe aromas of blackberry jam and dried figs. The fruit intensity is almost over-the-top. Soft tannins feel heavy and thick on the palate.
