Its concentrated, extracted, and medium-to-full-bodied core of fruit is densely packed with blackberries and currants. This winery consistently fashions well-made, attractively priced wines. Although not profound, the 1989 Cabernet Sauvignon is an up-front, ripe, tasty, round, generously endowed Cabernet for drinking over the next 3-4 years. There is fine fruit, softness, a supple texture, and an easy-going, pure finish.
