Proprietor Claudio Icardi’s 2006 Dadelio Rosso (60% Nebbiolo, 30% Barbera and 10% Dolcetto) is made from bio-dynamically farmed pre-phylloxera vines and spends 18 months in acacia oak barrels. It is a gorgeous, fruit-driven wine bursting with black cherries, plums, spices, new leather, tar and licorice. Soft and seamless on the palate, the 2006 Dadelio Rosso offers terrific depth and richness. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019.
