Full-bodied, the wine has a frame of juicy fruit with a dusty undercurrent and notes of wild brush, sand-blown leather, plum reduction and dried tobacco that flutter across the mid-palate with buttressing tannins. The Cabernet concludes with a firm, dusty finish with a lingering sensation of bitter dark chocolate and dried currants. The wine rested for 20 months in all French oak, 50% new.
