The 2017 Santenay Vieille Vignes unfurls in the glass with aromas of smoky cherries, cassis, grilled meats and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a fleshy core of nicely concentrated fruit, powdery tannins and ripe acids. This has developed nicely and is showing very well in bottle.
