Very deep purple-black colored, the 2010 Buckboard Durif gives pronounced notes of chocolate box, roasted nuts, creme de cassis, prune juice, Christmas cake and figs. Very full and powerfully fruited in the mouth, the rich, spicy flavors are nicely offset by refreshing acid and a medium to firm level of chewy tannins, finishing long. Drinking beautifully now, it should keep to 2018+. No known US importer.
