Like a few other producers in Napa who opted not to make red wine in 2020 due to smoke taint issues, Kenzo has crafted a very respectable new rosé label for this vintage. The 2020 Rosé Yui is a blend of 54% Malbec, 37% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc. Pale salmon pink in color, it offers up intense kirsch, raspberry coulis and fresh red apple scents, plus hints of dill seed, white pepper and red roses. Medium-bodied, crisp and lively, it delivers great vibrancy and length.
