The 2008 Morellino di Scansano I Perazzi is a pretty, mid-weight offering. Red cherries, dried flowers and licorice are some of the nuances that emerge from the glass. Like so many wines in this vintage, the Perazzi is a touch lighter in body than is typically the case, but the wine’s overall sense of balance and harmony are as strong as one can reasonably expect in 2008.
