Showing a more compact and darker character next to the Campoleone, the 2015 Torami is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. There are robust fruit nuances here with blackberry, plum, spice and lots of savory tobacco. The wine displays pretty layering and richness with a balanced, mid to full-bodied character. Those pretty fruit flavors sit long on the palate. Some 20,000 bottles were released.

The 2013 Torami is Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. Thanks to that balanced blend of opposite-minded grapes, this wine has the natural versatility to pair with most of your favorite dishes from Central Italy—from eggless pasta with meat ragù or mixed grilled meats. Dark cherry and blackberry segue to spice and leather. The wine's tannins are mild and the concentration is rich. Some 20,000 bottles were produced.

Another racy red, the 2010 Torami (50% Cabernet Sauvignon with Sangiovese and Montepulciano) is a gorgeous wine with thick extraction and pretty fruit tones of black cherry, plum and dried blackberry. Softer notes of lavender or dried rose fill in the back, giving way to heavier aromas of chocolate and espresso as the wine aerates in the glass. The 2005 Torami reveals a flavor profile that tends towards a wilder expression of game, dark cherries, earthiness, smoke. The tannins could use a little more polish, but bottle age should do the trick here. Torami is 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Sangiovese and 10% Montepulciano that spent 10 months in French oak.
