The estate’s 2004 Planet Waves is a more up-front wine loaded with plump, dark, jammy fruit intermingled with sweet toasted oak. While it doesn’t quite have the complexity of the Chaos it does offer very pleasurable drinking in a juicy, accessible style. This blend of 75% Montepulciano and 25% Merlot spent 12 months in French oak. It is another beautiful wine from Le Terrazze. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2019. This small property located in the Marche has been owned by the Terni family since the late 1800s. Antonio Terni is a long-time fan of Bob Dylan, whose music has been the inspiration of many of the wines. Consulting oenologist Attilio Pagli oversees the winemaking.
