The 2007 Pinot Nero reveals ripe, candied fruits, earthiness and licorice with no hard edges and lovely balance. Pinot Noir is a notoriously fickle variety, and perhaps the hardest grape to cultivate well at this price point, so this is an especially remarkable wine for the money.
