The winery calls the 2007 Tikka’s “l(fā)ess exuberant” than previous vintages; that is not necessarily a bad thing. The fruit is crisp and powerfully focused; layered with flavors of melon, green apple, Asian pear and fresh peas. Whole cluster pressed and fermented in a combination of tank and neutral barrels, this textural wine finishes with crisp, mineral accents. ——P.G.(12/15/2008)—— 88
