A blend of mostly Chardonnay, with Sauvignon Blanc, Nascetta and a touch of Riesling, the Luigi Baudana 2021 Langhe Bianco Dragon (in a screw-cap bottle) is super fresh and zesty with lovely citrus, white almond and fresh honeysuckle. The wine's lean and direct style would pair with sushi or a grilled fish with olive oil and lemon. The dragon on the front label represents Saint George and is a symbol of courage in the face of adversity (and difficult times like what we are going through now).

The Luigi Baudana 2020 Langhe Bianco Dragon is mostly Chardonnay with Sauvignon Blanc, Nascetta and a touch of Riesling. These results are glossy and shiny in this vintage, showing enormous purity and lifted intensity. The bouquet is really very beautiful, with orchard fruit, preserved lemon and an elegant touch of natural rubber that works perfectly. In fact, you can smell the wine even when the glass is placed far away. To the palate, it is silky and smooth, and something you might want to bring on a special fly-fishing trip to pair with your evening dinner of lemon-pepper trout. 29,000 bottles were produced.

The Luigi Baudana 2019 Langhe Bianco Dragon is a blend of 46% Chardonnay, 25% Sauvignon Blanc, 24% Nascetta and 5% Riesling. The wine is luminous and bright with bright citrus, nectarine and passion fruit. This is a wholeheartedly open and pleasurable blended white that has the balanced acidity and the fun, aromatic character to pair with exotic dishes with lemongrass, basil or cilantro. The finish is lean and compact, and the wine ends with a taste of salty mineral. An ample 29,000 bottles were made.

This blend of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Nascetta is very thin and easy in terms of consistency but it shows lots of bright, exotic flavors. The 2018 Langhe Bianco Dragon spreads out notes of citrus, passion fruit and papaya. This is a great aperitif wine for finger foods.
