Chapoutier's 2017 Gigondas is a blend of 70% Grenache and 15% each Mourvèdre and Syrah. The nose hints at mocha and meaty notes, while the palate picks up flavors of plum, cola and dried spices. Full-bodied and potent, it's also juicy and mouthwatering, with a long, zesty finish. It should have a decade of longevity.
