Marcarini’s 2008 Dolcetto d’Alba Fontanazza is a big, chunky wine that shows the more masculine side of Dolcetto in its dark fruit, spices, leather and tobacco. The wine possesses excellent length although it could be a touch more fleshed out. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
