The 2009 Merlot Cabernet Franc displays a medium garnet-purple color and a moderate intensity of blueberry preserve and warm black plum aromas over mulberries and baking spices. Medium to full bodied, it is generously fruited in the mouth with an attractive level of velvety tannins, lively acid and a long finish. Drink it now to 2016. No known USA importer.

A blend of 71% Merlot, and 29% Cabernet Franc, matured for 15 months in French barriques, the 2007 Moko has good definition on the nose: a nod to the Old World, blackberry, tobacco and leather. The palate is medium-bodied, finely balanced and very fresh. Harmonious, nice tension towards the finish with blackberry, boysenberry and blueberry, Feminine and wily. Drink now-2015.
