The collection begins with the dark ruby-colored 2007 Pinot Noir Estate Cuvee. It offers up a nose of cedar, earth, black cherry, and black raspberry. On the palate it is firm, structured, and a bit brooding. There is ample sweet, spicy black fruit but it will require 2-3 years of further cellaring for this wine to fully blossom.
