The estate’s 2004 Valpolicella Classico Superiore is a pretty wine with plummy, dark fruit, herbs and black pepper. This medium-bodied, simple Valpolicella is also an excellent value. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2009.
The Mazzi family makes rich, sleek wines with the services of consulting oenologist Paolo Caciorgna. The estate is located in Negrar, in the classic part of the Valpolicella zone.
