A composition of 48% Syrah, 16% Grenache, 14% Mourvèdre, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petite Verdot, 4% Petite Sirah and 2% Zinfandel, the 2020 Beautiful Earth Red has a deep ruby-purple color, and the nose is bursting with boysenberries, black cherries, iron and Earl Grey tea leaves, plus slowly opening accents of charcuterie and peppercorn. The medium-bodied palate offers concentrated, broody fruit, grainy tannins, plenty of refreshing acidity and a long, layered finish. 1,474 cases were made.

The 2009 Beautiful Earth is a gorgeous, firm wine endowed with candied dark fruit, leather and licorice. There is a sensual element that takes shape in the glass as the layers of fruit emerge from this striking, Syrah-based blend. A final burst of black fruit frames the finish.
