Stout on the nose, big in color and lively as they come. After early aromas of wet cement and moss give way to bold fruit, the wine unfolds to display flavors of cassis, cherry and plum. There’s clarity and purpose here, with full-bore tannins and rock-solid structure. Maybe not the most complex wine you’ll ever try, but definitely a good example of Chilean Cabernet.——M.S.(7/1/2009)—— 88
