Ruby in color, the 2009 Long Gully Pinot Noir displays youthfully mute red cherry and red plum notes with subtle hints of beets, tree bark, moss and Ceylon tea. Medium bodied, it leads with structure on the palate with a firm level of grainy tannins and lively acidity supporting concentrated red berry and earth flavors, finishing long. It should drink best 2012 to 2017+.
