After more than four years on lees and a similar time on cork, the 2009 Cuvee Virginie has developed a harmonious bouquet of toasted brioche and honeyed citrus, yet it remains medium-bodied and dry. The fine, creamy mousse and delicate savory nuances of mushroom and herb leave the mouth watering on the finish. It's a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir.
