The 2007 Aglianico del Taburno Anastasi wraps around the palate with serious intensity. This is a decidedly rich, fruit-driven style of Aglianico supported by firm, incisive tannins. There is plenty of depth in the glass, but less in the way of true excitement. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2017. Once again, I was deeply struck by the wines I tasted from Ocone.
