Composed of 55% Grenache, 19% Syrah, 17% Mourvedre and 9% Cinsault, the 2018 Sinister Hand displays a classic ruby color and aromas of dusty cherry skin, dried herbs and petrichor. Medium to full-bodied, the wine is spicy, with flavors of red berry compote, ending with a straightforward finish that offers a hint of smokiness in the aftertaste.

The 2017 Sinister Hand is a Grenache-based red blend with mostly red fruit—spiced strawberries and dark cherries—that echo with a spicy touch of herbal notes over an open-knit core. Medium-bodied on the palate, the wine is focused and subtly spiced, with notes of red flowers and cinnamon. The wine lingers on the finish with a bright core of spiced fruit and well-structured tannins.

The 2016 Sinister Hand offers up aromas of ripe berries, grilled meat, green herbs and soil. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, supple and fragrant, with a good core of juicy fruit and a finely tannic, chewy finish. It's a blend of 63% Grenache, 16% Syrah, 16% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault.
