Roughly two-thirds Cab and one-third Merlot, this red wears a judicious amount of oak, and is drinking well now. At its core is black cherry and plum fruit. Its chalk-clay feel persists through the finish, as does a ribbon of fresh eucalyptus. It’s a solid, well-made wine. 3,500 cases produced.——D.T.(9/1/2004)—— 88
