Scavino’s 2010 Langhe Bianco (Sauvignon, Chardonnay) is very nicely balanced in this vintage. It shows lovely delineation and steeliness in its white stone fruits and flowers. The Sauvignon aromatics are quite present and add good complexity but don’t dominate, as has sometimes been the case in the past. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013.
