Paritua's 2014 Red is a vibrant, medium to full-bodied blend of 60% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Cabernet Franc. Black cherries, dark chocolate and baking spices line the palate, enveloping it in soft, plush richness without being stewed or Porty. A really fine effort, even if I'd suggest early drinking.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Red (a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet France and Malbec) has a gorgeous black currant and warm blueberry laced nose with hints of plum preserves, cigar boxes, cloves, violets and chocolate box. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers mouth filling black fruit and spice box flavors with a solid structure of firm, ripe, grainy tannins and lively acidity, finishing with great length.

Deep garnet-purple colored and blended of 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec, the 2008 Red provides notes of warm cassis and blackberries over earth, truffles, undergrowth and a little tar. Crisp with medium-firm somewhat astringent tannins, this vintage is a little leaner and less ripe than the 2007, with a medium-long finish. Drink it now to 2015. The 2007 Red is a Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec blend. Very deep garnet-black in color, it gives notes of mulberries, black currant, cloves plus some cedar and sage. Medium bodied with a solid foundation of medium-high acid and a medium level of fine tannins, this blend provides a good concentration of mid-palate flesh and a long finish.
