The 2014 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos spent ten months in oak barrels. It has a fragrant, detailed, mineral-driven bouquet that is very harmonious and offers lovely slate-like aromas. The palate is fresh and vibrant with a killer saline component, very focused and precise with an intense, lightly spiced finish that delivers everything you want from this vineyard. Bon vin!

The 2013 Chablis Grand Cru les Clos comes from 0.67-hectares of 51-year-old vines and is matured for 16 months of which 12 months are in wooden barrel and the remainder in stainless steel. It has a well-defined bouquet with citrus lemon, smoke and granite scents, timid at first but opening nicely in the glass. The palate is a little soft on the entry, but there is more acidic bite here than other Les Clos 13's with commendable weight on the lightly spiced, peppery finish. Enjoy this over the next decade.
