Peter Lehmann’s 2005 Wigan Riesling displays evolving aromas of lemongrass, lime leaves, preserved kumquat and fresh hay with an undercurrent of orange blossoms and crushed stones. Light bodied, dry and with a superb line of racy acidity, it offers mouth-filling citrus and mineral flavors and a long clean finish. Drinking nicely now, it should continue to cellar to 2018+.
