The 2019 Alto Adige Chardonnay Riserva Vigna Crivelli is a softly textured and rich white wine. With fruit from the estate's Punggl vineyard, you get mature peach, pineapple and poached pear. Those creamy and generous fruit tones are backed by vanilla, pastry cream and even a touch of spicy cumin or saffron. The wine represents an interesting stylistic intersection between Burgundy and the lower Mediterranean. Some 4,000 bottles were made.

This wine is fermented and aged in oak, and you feel that extra padding and density as a result. These are some of the estate's most prized grapes from this single vineyard that was planted in 1992 to selected clones of Chardonnay. Only 4,000 bottles were made.

The 2016 Alto Adige Chardonnay Riserva Crivelli offers a strong citrus character with lemon curd and grapefruit concentrate. Those are the high notes, but the low notes veer toward toasted almond and pine nut. The wine opens to an off-gold color with spice and natural rubber. Despite the delicate bouquet, the wine fans over the palate to reveal a firm, mid-weight palate. Only 4,000 bottles were made.

The single-vineyard 2014 Alto Adige Chardonnay Riserva Crivelli is a luscious and creamy expression. The wine is aged in barrique for 11 months and the bouquet opens to stone fruit, apricot, honey and toasted nut. Try this wine with pasta and a summer pesto sauce. Only 4,000 bottles were produced.
