This is the top-shelf Pinot Grigio from Pighin that is light and luminous with plenty of varietal character. The Pighin 2019 Collio Pinot Grigio shows white peach, pear, grapefruit, fresh cinnamon and balanced almond. The wine is lean in texture, but there is enough depth and volume to pair with spicy chicken wings or codfish baccalà.

The 2015 Collio Pinot Grigio is a plush and rich expression with high aromatic definition. In fact, I'm hard pressed to remember a Northern Italian Grigio with so much going on in the glass. The bouquet shows pristine aromas of honeysuckle, yellow rose, sweet almond and mountain herb. The wine offers medium density and richness in the mouth.
